Dr. Sean Mohtashami

Dr. Sean is the founder of 4M Institute and 4M dental implant centers as well as the Author of the bestselling book “There is No Standing Still.”

Dr. Sean is both a pioneer and a leading expert specializing in dental implant solutions. Dr. Sean owns and operates several practices and opened 4M Institute to offer a much-needed dental training institute, dedicated to teaching dentists not only clinical and lab training, but also marketing, sales, and leadership.

With extensive hands-on training of his own, Dr. Sean understands the power of post-graduate training to take a practice to the next level. He created the state-of-the-art facility with the most advanced technology and top-of-the-line equipment to ensure students have the most cutting-edge tools at their fingertips.

Dr. Sean is a master at vetting out potential patients in a fast-growing massive market and is able to seamlessly transfer that knowledge to dentists in his courses helping them to acquire the skills necessary to complete high ticket full arch cases. In addition to training at 4M Institute, 4M Institute's World Headquarters is home to the Institute as well as one of Dr. Sean's leading dental implant practices, 4M Dental Implant Center. Dr. Sean has been featured on The Doctors as well as Howard Farran's Dentistry Uncensored.

Dr. Athena Goodarzi

Dr. Athena Goodarzi, MS, DDS, is a prominent female leader in the field of full arch dentistry and modern dentistry, renowned for her expertise in full mouth rehabilitation and advanced implantology. With a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for transforming lives, she specializes in the All-on-X dental implants solution, seamlessly combining artistry and precision to restore both aesthetics and function for her patients.

Dr. Athena earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading dental programs. She further refined her expertise through a rigorous residency at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City. Her relentless pursuit of excellence has positioned her as one of the most sought-after clinicians in full arch restoration, particularly in cases involving severe bone loss, zygomatic, and pterygoid implants.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Athena is a dedicated educator and mentor, shaping the future of implant dentistry. She serves as The Lead Educator at the 4M Institute, where she collaborates with leading experts, including Dr. Sean Mohtashami, to train dental professionals from around the world in full arch rehabilitation.

Dr. Athena was recently honored to be the first female dentist to teach full arch dental implant solutions at ORCAA, in collaboration with Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) in Guatemala. During this experience, she had the privilege of teaching alongside some of the world’s leading surgeons. Additionally, she is a co-faculty at the Atlantic Implant Institute in Virginia Beach, where she specializes in advanced full arch implantology, empowering dentists nationwide with the expertise and techniques needed to master complex restorative treatments.

Dr. Athena's comprehensive education and expertise in implantology and full mouth rehabilitation have positioned her as a Key Opinion Leader within the Straumann Group, where she actively mentors and educates peers throughout the country.

Dr. Samira Houshiar

Dr. Samira Houshiar graduated UCI with honors receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1997. In 2001 she received her Doctoral in Dental Surgery (DDS) from UCLA school of dentistry and since she has continued her education in many different dental subspecialty programs.

Soon after receiving her DDS, she continued her education in cosmetic dentistry at LVI (Las Vegas Institute) and graduated in 2003. While practicing cosmetic and general dentistry, she completed her certification in Occlusion, Neuromuscular, and TMJ treatment concurrently. In order to bring more comfort for her most anxious patients, Dr. Samira completed the training necessary to be certified in Conscious Sedation (2004) and I.V. Sedation (2020).

Since completing her assistant fellowship in Implantology back in 2009, Dr. Samira has dedicated her career to full mouth reconstruction and designing beautiful and functional smiles for her patients. She is currently practicing at 4M Dental Implant Center at the Newport Beach location. Dr. Samira Houshiar is a firm believer that the road to quality has no finish line. She is dedicated to staying at the cutting edge of technology and all dentistry has to offer. She is determined to change lives one smile at a time.

Dr. Tirakhsh Emadi

Dr. Emadi is a prosthodontist and Implant specialist practicing in Long Beach, Ca. He received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2009 from Tehran Azad University of Dentistry, Tehran, IRAN.

Dr. Emadi practiced general dentistry for several years. He was a prosthodontics preceptor at the University of California, San Francisco before he entered Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics as well as Master of Science in Dentistry.

 Dr. Emadi was serving as a Chief Resident during his residency. He was honored with the dental implant surgery award at the end of his residency. Dr. Emadi completed the Maxicourse dental implant education in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also excels in digital dentistry.

Dr. Emadi is a diplomate and board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). He is very passionate in practicing and teaching on single implants, Overdenture, full mouth dental implant rehabilitation, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, digital workflow as well as doing research. He had more than twenty-five presentations in different dental meetings and published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. His presentation in 70th AAID annual conference received first place award. He also received a second-place award in 29th Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting. Dr. Emadi is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Harbor Dental Society (HDS), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and he is a member of Academy News Committee, Young Clinician Committee, and E-Poster Committee in AO.
