Andrea Palmer

Andrea Palmer is a Registered Dental Hygienist, Consultant, and Educator with over 17 years of dedicated clinical and leadership experience in the dental field. Her career began as a dental assistant in 2009, which inspired her to continue her education and graduate from the inaugural Dental Hygiene class at Concorde Career Colleges, Garden Grove. Following her graduation, she contributed further to her alma mater by serving on its Dental Hygiene Program Advisory Board, helping shape the education of future hygienists. She holds advanced certifications in LANAP and diode laser therapy.

Andrea’s clinical expertise is built on empathy and adaptability, cultivated by three formative years at a practice dedicated to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience ingrained a deeply patient-centric approach, which she later applied to her role as a pioneer of mobile dentistry services for San Francisco’s tech industry. In multiple Lead RDH roles over her career, she has transformed hygiene departments through mentorship, systematic implementation, and sustained growth.

Currently, as a Lead Hygienist at 4M Dental Implant Center focused on advanced implant maintenance, she identified a significant educational gap within the profession. Noting the increased demand for implant dentistry, she observed that many hygienists are now providing full-arch implant and prosthetic care without formal training. This insight motivated her to shift her focus toward peer education.

She now channels this mission through instruction at the 4M Institute and targeted consulting for dental practices, guiding them in building lucrative, efficient, and clinically advanced hygiene departments. Continuously evolving in her craft, Andrea is actively developing new educational projects designed to elevate the hygiene profession and expand access to high-quality care.
